Book this beautiful guided hike in the heart of Snowdonia and visit the mountains of Cnicht & Moelwyn Mawr. Lead by qualified Mountain Leader Adrian Conchie, you will be guided on the stunning Cnicht route in the Moelwynion mountain range, beginning in the peaceful village of Croesor. Firstly heading up to the summit of the distinctive cone-shaped mountain of Cnicht (689m / 2,261ft), we’ll then continue along its north ridge and around the valley to the mountain of Moelwyn Mawr. You’ll also get to visit the historic old slate quarries at Rhosydd en-route, where we’ll stop for lunch and you’ll see a multitude of abandoned quarrymen’s cottages (even a whole street) in the middle of the mountains! Book this stunning Snowdonia guided hike and scramble to the summit of Moel Siabod, via the Daear Ddu ridge. Lead by qualified Mountain Leader Adrian Conchie, you will be guided on the Moel Siabod route, beginning near Capel Curig in Northern Snowdonia and proceeding up the Daear Ddu ridge (a grade 1 scramble) up to the summit of Moel Siabod at 872m (2,861ft). With beautiful views of almost every one of the Welsh 3000’s (weather permitting), we’ll grab a bite to eat and some photos at the summit before heading down the mountain a different way.
